‘Live’ Music Streaming for 30 Wedding Couples’ Solemnisation at ROM (Registry Of Marriages Singapore) – The New Normal??

It has been very quiet since the Circuit Breaker was implemented, and we were surprised to receive a call from ROM (Registry of Marriages Singapore) with regards to engaging a live band to perform music for 30 pairs of wedding couples who would be having their solemnisation directly with ROM on the hot date 25 May 2020. They felt that virtual solemnisation is a new normal, and having ‘live’ music performances would help liven up the atmosphere (celebratory effects!)… and…

Strolling Duo: Selwyn (violin) & Justin (guitar) 5-piece Band:Huibing (vocals), Justin (guitar), Melvin (bass), Ridzuan (cajon), Ivan (saxophone) 50 years of marriage is what many people would desire when they got married. And here we are today with 170 pairs of couples who have exactly that – 50 years of marriage! Band: Selwyn (violin), Justin (guitar) What an honour to be invited back by Registry Of Marriages to perform for wedding couples on Valentine’s Day, for the 3rd year round! Having ‘live’ music always makes a difference, and we’re delighted that Registry Of Marriages recognises the magic it brings to the ambience. This year round was even more fun because other than a cute backdrop for photo-taking, there was even props! We hope to be back next year for more fun!…
