Juliet’s thoughts: Wonderful Tonight
It’s just not same gigging with friends,… better! The synergy we felt as a team was also felt by the audience who gave us really kind and encouraging compliments at the end of the show.
It would be doing them disservice to underplay their being such grrreat listeners. Nothing is more encouraging than our music being received and enjoyed.
It was a real pleasure playing and singing for the lovely couple tonight. The highlight of the night for me was Top of the world, a simple but beautiful arrangement by Jiong Shun (Wilson) tonight pretty much did put me at the Top of my world tonight. 🙂
I really felt the audience riding with us through our adventures from sentimental ballads such as 牵手（Holding Hands）, Loving You and bossa numbers such as So Nice and The Way You Look Tonight, and also Shanghai Blues numbers such as 给我一个吻 (Give Me A Kiss) and 我要你的爱 (I Want Your Love).
In a pleasant sort of way, I felt so familiar with them at the end, it was almost hard to part. Though Wonderful Tonight wasn’t one of the songs to be sung to night, Wilson did his best singing it from memory when a request was made, and well done at that I must say!
