Bevlyn’s Thoughts: Beyond The Sea

Daniel had to travel a lot for work, hence Weiling heading to the airport to fetch him became a commonality in the relationship. The couple did something incredible to mark this fact down – they filmed down the whole usual process of Weiling dressing up, preparing, and taking transport to meet Daniel in Changi Airport a week before the wedding. It was especially spectacular for the guests, because it was a stop-motion video!!!

I like the fact that the couple shared with the guests how they came to know each other – at a Christmas party when Weiling was doing her internship. Weiling also shared that Daniel had a weird dress sense when she first knew him, however he dresses more smartly now and even ‘overshines’ her. Well, it’s up to anybody’s guess the reason for Daniel’s improved dress sense!

The band played the two march-in songs ‘live’ – ‘L-O-V-E’ and ‘Beyond the sea’. Weiling and Daniel didn’t want to have CD music for the 1st dish presentation too, hence I chose the relaxing number ‘Make it with you’ to kick off the luncheon. It was a good mix of jazz, classics and pop music. I knew the guests enjoyed because a doctor who works in Japan came up to me and offered his name-card – he told me that he enjoyed the band’s performance very much, and that I should look him up in Japan if I go to Tokyo in the future. He even added that if I need his medical services, I could fly myself to Tokyo, and he would provide me with the services FOC. I wasn’t really thinking much about it until I noticed his name-card stating ‘cosmetic surgeon’. No wonder he said the offer is good for 20 years. LOL. I’m blogging this here as I hope you can be my witness!
