Serene’s Thoughts: When I’m 64

The wedding of Rebecca and Siong San was held at the Four Seasons. The lush ballroom was given a lovely tint of romance with pink gerberas bouquets placed around the room.

For their 2nd march-in, Rebecca looked stunning in a pale silvery blue gown that accentuated her lovely complexion. The couple chose a set of really beautiful and timeless classics to be performed by the band for the evening. One of which was “When I’m 64” by The Beatles.

When I get older, losing my hair,
Many years from now,
Will you still be sending me a Valentine
Birthday greetings, bottle of wine?
If I’d been out till quarter to three
Would you lock the door?
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
When I’m sixty-four?

Watching Rebecca and Siong San that evening put a smile on my face, especially when I performed this song. Simple lyrics that illustrate some of life’s precious moments….finding the one you love and growing old together.

Our warmest congratulations to Rebecca and Siong San. Thank you for engaging A Little Dream for your wedding, and our best wishes to you both!

This apron is specially hand-sewn by Rebecca’s mum for the couple!
