Bevlyn’s Thoughts: Don’t Know Much

This wedding brings a lot of laughter to me…First off, the 2 emcees were cheerful and upbeat friends of Colin and Vanessa, who knew enough to dig up old memories of the couple. Secondly, bouquet-throwing sessions like this never fails to make the single ladies in the ballroom cringe haha!

When Vanessa told me that she would like to do a duet with her father on ‘Don’t Know Much‘, I was really looking forward to it. It was moving to witness the love and closeness through a simple song like this:

“I don’t know much…but I know I love you
And that may be all I need to know….”

Vanessa’s cousin Li Hao also did an excellent rendition of 2 jazz songs with his saxophone. What a lovely wedding present!

I didn’t manage to take a picture but this was what happened – the female emcee came over in the midst of our repertoire and asked if I know how to sing “Nobody“. It’s not in our setlist for this wedding, but we did it anyway so as to fulfill their plan – they first lured the unsuspecting brothers onto the stage and then asked them to repeat the dance they did at the customary wedding that morning (to the song “Nobody”)!
Congratulations to Colin and Vanessa! Thank you for inviting us to contribute to this special celebration!

Thanks everyone for the fantastic performance!  Having a live band makes a huge difference in the mood of the banquet.

Especially hotels are now particular with the songs we play throughout the banquet.   I wish we have more sets for our wedding that we can really sit down and enjoy.

Will definitely recommend to my friends so next round I will be the guest to enjoy the performance!  haha 🙂
