Juliet’s thoughts: The Nearness Of You
It’s been a while since I sang an all-English repertoire for a wedding, which is pretty interesting for a change.
The night began with light jazz numbers such as Dream A Little Dream and The Nearness Of You, warming up to uptempo standards like Cheek To Cheek and Fly Me To The Moon gradually.

It’s my first with Edward and it’s also been a while since a duo collaboration with a pianist and I’d been looking forward to new vibes, and Edward surely didn’t disappoint! The couple had also picked contemporary numbers such as My Valentine, How Do I Live, Fallen as well as Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.
It was a pretty huge ballroom, and I was a wee bit worried about the acoustics, but it felt all right, and we were assured when the crowd responded with claps and cheering on most of the numbers. We were very encouraged by a mysterious photographer who really fancied us models, lol.

Not really, like the gentleman who came up to us at the end for our ‘CD’, the former really was a jolly happy snapper who enjoyed the music. We couldn’t be more thankful. Kristy and Jinwei were a beautiful couple tonight and we were happy to have performed for them.

Hey Juliet & Edward
Sorry for the late entry, but thank you both very much for the fantastic job at the wedding…
The feedback from our guest was simply fantastic! I think after attending our wedding alot of our friends are planning to have live performances rather than the usual CDs
Once again, thanks for the fantastic job.
