Hsin Yeow’s thoughts: Fly Me To The Where?

Nigel’s training to be a pilot, so I couldn’t help but tease him a bit before singing the song Fly Me To The Moon. “Nigel, Jo-Lynn has set you a task: you’ll have to fly her the moon. So start building that rocket ship now!” Nigel gamely stood up and waved his hand in agreement.

They were clearly in love, because their relationship withstood the test of time and distance. Almost half of their 8-year-6-month courtship was spent in two different continents because Nigel studied abroad. A long-distance relationship is often the litmus test for any couple, and though the beginning was rough, Jo-Lynn admitted that Nigel, being the more “mature” half, convinced her to stick it through.

No wonder Nigel wasn’t fazed when asked to fly her to the moon. For Jo-Lynn, he’d gladly make the trip there, and back.
