Adeline’s thoughts: Love Will Keep Us Alive

I smiled to myself when I found out that Susanne was a fan of Corrinne May. I love Corrinne May too and I immediately thought of playing a few of her songs if the opportunity arose. Don’t know if Susanne realized, I played “five loaves and two fishes” as an instrumental after the 2nd march-in, during the Champagne pouring and first toast.

Keegan and Susanne struck me as a very sincere and sporting couple. Keegan did not hesitate one moment when Judy asked him to sing, “Love Will Keep Us Alive”. His spontaneity plus that of Susanne’s when she sang in the later portion of the song definitely helped set the mood for the music during the dinner. The audience was really appreciative of our music and it was indeed a pleasure performing for them.

Hi Hsin Yeow,

Sorry for this overdue email of thanks. We would like to thank Judy and Adeline for being part of our wedding and for putting together our favourite songs. Judy sang really well and connected well with the audiences. We already had a number of couples who are getting married next year asking for A Little Dream’s contact! Our guests have nothing but praises to the 2 piece band and the repertoire of songs.

Judy had even gotten Keegan to sing one of his favourite love songs – Love Will Keep Us Alive by the Eagles to me. It was a very touching moment as Keegan was spontaneous enough to go up and sing. I went along and only sang the last line together..haha.

Judy also noticed that though our song choices were all English but there were a number of relatives of older age group being present. So she felt that she needs to sing some Chinese songs to accommodate them. We gave her the go ahead and Keegan’s grandmother & relatives really enjoyed the Teresa Teng’s songs she sang. Bravo to the both of them for the efforts to engage the audience.

Lastly, thank you to the both of them for performing the 2nd march in song according to how we wanted (Billy Joel – Just The Way You Are). The whole atmosphere was great as accompanied with such strong vocals and music. Thank you also to you and Nicky for accomodating all of our requests.

Thank you once again to A Little Dream for sharing our joy! There are some photos as attached which we would like to share with all of you.

With Love,
Keegan & Susanne
