Hui Bing’s Thoughts: 小酒窝 (Your Dimples)
Mandarin Court at Meritus Mandarin is one of my favourite wedding venues – for its warm service, grand decor and unique tiered structure. And also for its excellent sound system as well. Ein and I had a ball performing the songs that Lauryn and Justin have selected for that evening.
Particularly, the Mandarin classics were a great hit with the guests. Among the evening’s highlights is Lauryn and Justin’s pre-wedding montage, featuring them in numerous outfits and exquisitely beautifully backdrops, from a Greek Hall to a swing in a lush garden. I think it is one of the nicest indoor photo shoot that I ever seen.
Lauryn’s cousin Joel also sang two songs, a duet “小酒窝” (Your Dimples) and Jacky Cheung’s Cantonese hit “你的名字我的姓氏” (Your Name, My Surname). Joel looked as if he just stepped out of a Korean idol drama series – he looked quite dashing with his cool dress sense and hairstyle. He sang the two songs really well to much applause.
Once again, our congratulations to Lauryn and Justin!
