Serene’s thoughts: This Is It
Carlson and Cabell had a very unique march-in. Five couple friends, ladies all dressed in matching turquoise blue dresses, and the gentlemen, in black suits marched-in slowly, making a lovely entrance for the couple.
I thought it was beautiful.
Even more so with their choice of the march-in song “Only You” (by Sinead O’Connor), with such breathtakingly beautiful lyrics:

Feels like only yesterday I had locked my heart away

I always feel that a bride looks her most beautiful on her wedding day. There is this aura,…. of a little girl who has blossomed into a young lady, of a princess who’s found her prince charming. For Cabell, it must have been an extra special day for her as it was also her birthday. I trust it must have been the sweetest birthday surprise when the lights dimmed after their second march-in and a little cake was brought out for her as everyone in the ballroom sang “Happy Birthday” for the most beautiful girl in the ballroom 🙂
In October last year, Ein Ein, Ivan and myself were engaged to play at the wedding of Daniel and Jessica held at Swissotel Merchant Court. The next day, we received a call from Jessica requesting to engage us for Cabells’s wedding! They are the sweetest! The band remember’s fondly the events at their wedding, and the lovely dinner they provided us, as such it was wonderful to be able to connect with Jessica and Daniel again!

Our sincere apologies for this super delayed reply. Was having some crazy months after our wedding!
The engagement of the band came as a very sweet surprise from our dearest friends – Daniel and Jessica. They had their wedding just a couple of months prior to ours. We were in fact very mesmerized by the band during their wedding – so we wanted to find out more about the band that they engaged – A Little Dream! Even before we’re able to get in touch with the band, Daniel and Jessica has already engaged the band for us as a wedding gift.
