Bevlyn’s thoughts: Somewhere Over The rainbow
According to Stephan’s good buddies Francis and Louis, Stephan had changed from a boy to a man after being with Cheryl for over 2 years that they were dating. And I could tell how in love Stephan was in love with Cheryl; before he was 5 seconds into his speech, a table of great friends behind him started chanting “Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!”. When he had finished thanking all the important people he needed to thank, he said, “Now you may have your kiss”. Without hesitation, he led Cheryl to the centre of the stage for the much-requested act. He even asked the guests “(for) How long?”!
I was told that Stephan was a commando, so I thought he should be gamed for anything. Though initially hesitant during the cocktail, he eventually agreed to sing 月亮代表我的心 (The Moon Represents My Heart) to Cheryl as a surprise for her. Cheryl was rather apprehensive when I made the surprise announcement (she had told me earlier she was scared that Stephan might scare the guests away if he sings). I was sure she was saying that in jest, because when Stephan started singing, everyone cheered, and Cheryl was visibly moved too…
The couple’s wedding coordinator, Leveena, had also arranged another surprise for the couple; Cheryl’s two good friends, Juliana and Amanda, gave a very heart-warming speech on how Cheryl had touched and impacted their lives. Stephan’s two great buddies, Francis and Louis, lightened the atmosphere with their hilarious speeches and banter.
Feri, Shawn and I had a tremendous great time performing for this wedding, mainly because of the applause coming from the guests, especially the happy group of girls sitting behind us!
Thank you Cheryl and Stephan, we wish you a blissful marriage ahead, and hope to see you very soon!

It was a busy night but I managed to catch a few songs like Corcovado, Say A Little Prayer, I’m Yours, The Look of Love and If I Ain’t Got you – all of which I really enjoyed with a big smile on my face as I went round the table for photo taking.
