Melvin’s Thoughts: Beautiful…
My deepest impression of this wedding is that everyone is so good looking. Both the bride and groom had great dress sense and looked perfect for each other. Their entourage of friends, both the bride and groom’s sister and brother gang were all gorgeously and charmingly dressed. It was a beautiful wedding in every sense of the word.
Unique to all the weddings I had performed for, there was a best dressed competition. Of course the stars of the night were the couple but they had graciously allowed two beautifully dressed individuals to share the stage. That particular item was fun as each of the nominees of the best dressed competition each shared about their friendship and experiences with the couple through the years. We did learn much about the couple from them.
Talking about songs… This was one challenging song list that the couple had chosen. Most of the songs were typically ‘full band’ songs and the band was just me and my piano. However, when I knew that Ariel was singing with me, I was pretty sure that we were going to do it well. The night went on as expected, without glitches, and with much support from the guests. It was truly a remarkable and beautiful experience. I wish Laura and michael a beautiful and fulfilling life ahead.
