Hui Bing’s thoughts: On The Wings of Love

Andy and Yee Wen wanted to ensure that their guests take away more than just beautiful memories of their wedding. So besides the usual photographer and videographer, they had a mobile studio who printed out beautiful card-sized photos of the wedding to be given to guests on the spot. The band was thrilled to get our own photo-cards!

It was obvious how closely knitted Andy and Yee Wen are to their families. For their video montage, they did one specially to dedicate it to their parents and siblings. Instead of using pictures, they used caricatures instead, each accompanied with personalised words of appreciation and gratitude. After the montage, they surprised their family members by presenting each of them, their caricature in a nice frame. It was one of the most unique wedding presents I have ever seen.

Our repertoire comprise a mix of jazz, Mandopop and easy listening English songs but the guests wanted more – a Cantonese song. We were, of course, happy to oblige with this request and Junxiong sang 追 (Chase) as a dedication from their friends to the couple.

Congratulations, Andy and Yee Wen!
