Bevlyn’s Thoughts: At Last

It’s not easy coordinating a wedding when you are overseas, but Aloysius and Patricia did just that. After being away for a few years, they finally came back to host the wedding dinner and caught up with many family members and friends.

Among 2 of them were Aloysius’ good friends who seemed very happy to share with the guests about the young Aloysius they once knew:

Rodney, Aloysius’ childhood friend doing an imitation of how Aloysius spoke with his ‘rabbit’ front teeth when they first met in secondary school.

Lawrence, another of Aloysius’ childhood friend presenting a surprise photo montage of Aloysius’ growing up years…

Aloysius shared with the guests that he and Patricia have been together for 5 years 11 months xx days and yy hours etc. They had met each other in a training room when they were colleagues, and taken by Patricia’s charm, he wooed her over 3 days with his sincerity. It was extremely tedious for Aloysius to be robbed of sleep, but according to him, ‘God always reward the faithful….’ Look how Patricia was smiling cheek to cheek (see picture above)!

I feel that the lovely highlights were the dance segments – the couple kicked off the first dance with the romantic classic “At Last“; they were soon followed by many of their good friends on the dance floor. After the 2nd march-in, I performed my original song ‘When I’m 80‘ to dedicate it to Aloysius on Patricia’s behalf. I was exceptionally delighted to see them on the dancefloor again!

Thank you Aloysius and Patricia for inviting us to be a part of your wedding celebrations! Have a blissful marriage ahead, congratulations ahead!!
