Hui Bing’s Thoughts: Let there Be Love
The aromatic smell of ‘kopitiam’ coffee piqued my senses when I stepped into the ballroom. And there it was, there was a coffee station right in the middle of the ballroom, with a friendly elderly couple, dishing out traditional coffee powder from a Milo tin.
It turns out that Petrine and Chia Seng and some of their friends are regulars of this coffee stall at an Amoy Street hawker centre, so they got him to bring his goods to their wedding anniversary celebration!
Petrine and Chia Seng were a warm, friendly couple and their youthful looks did not show that they were married for 10 years!
It was a joy performing with the Jonathan Lim and Matthew. Jon, who had the privilege of performing at the recently concluded Mediacorp Star Awards, regaled us with tales from the celebration.
