Bevlyn’s Thoughts: 夜上海 (Shanghai Nights)

This was a wedding that really used live music to set the ambience – Jennifer arranged for the band to perform the 1st set with English jazz and classics, and the 2nd set with Shanghai jazz, so the theme was set clear apart between the two march-in. Jennifer looked absolutely alluring with her red cheongsam, and I was happy she took on my suggestion of using – 一见你就笑 as her 2nd march-in song – as the song title goes, everyone smiled at her ravishing beauty!

Richard (bassist) came on board A Little Dream recently, and I’m happy to be working with him! He is actually the bass guitarist for local group LGF, but he is equally versed with jazz songs 🙂

Songs I really enjoyed performing include:

爱情的魔力 (The Power of Love)

And we ended the lovely evening with 晚風 (Evening Breeze).

Eswaran would set a new standard for all sons-in-law, because in his thank you speech, he said that he would like to thank someone who is his colleague, best friend, and this person is also his mother-in-law Margaret. It is amazing isn’t it?!

Congratulations to Eswaran and Jennifer! We wish you many lovely days ahead as husband and wife and may you have many bountiful babies soon!
