Hui Bing’s thoughts: Forever And For Always
Friends always ask what instrument is more suitable for the band – guitar or keyboard? Saxophone or violin? I always reply that it depends on the ambience which they like to create as well as the songs which they chose.
I thought the guitar/vocal combi really suited Andrea and Evan’s choice of songs, which are more country and laid back in nature. They include some lovely songs from Shania Twain, Colbie Calliat’s songs as well as oldies such as Baby Baby.
And as we performed, a number of young kids begun pirouetting and dancing in front of us which I take it that they really enjoy our music. I was thoroughly amused when one young guest came up to us to ask if we can perform perform Michael Jackson’s Beat It. Shows that good music transcends all ages!
Jixiang and I really enjoyed playing for Andrea and Evan and their guests and all tables were almost packed, though Germany was playing Spain that evening. Though the times when we interacted are short, I could felt their warmth and friendliness, and totally in love and at ease with each other.
