Hsin Yeow’s thoughts: Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
Darren had a tough time figuring out when to propose to Yijue. Apparently, Yijue managed to find the ring each time they went on a romantic trip overseas. Darren said it quite succinctly, “I can’t keep any secrets from her!”
I had such a great time performing at the wedding. The spirit of Christmas was certainly in the air, and when Eleanor sang, “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”, I could see guests singing along with her. We also sang some song requests hastily scrawled on paper napkins.

I’ve always enjoyed Ian’s playing, and that night was no exception. The repertoire had everything from swinging jazz classics to soulful ballads, and it gave him opportunity to display his wide range of skills.
Congratulations Darren and Yijue! Thank you so much for engaging us for your wedding. Merry Christmas!

Compliments:
Hi Hsin Yeow,
We received many compliments from our guests that your voice was fantastic. Greatly appreciate that you accommodated to our guests’ dedications.
Thank you for being the emcee as well but apologies for someone else ‘stealing’ your show during the toasting.
A BIG thank you to you and your band!
Best Regards,
Darren & Yijue
Song To Recommend:
没有翅膀的天使 (Angel Without Wings) – Perfect for the occasion (wedding + Christmas Day)! Darren and Yijue caught an Andy Lau concert a while back, so Darren wanted to include one of his songs in the set list. Thanks for the recommendation!
