Adeline’s thoughts: Everything
It was apparent that the couple was very thoughtful and appreciative of all family and guests who helped made this wedding possible. In our earlier exchange, Janice had a few songs in mind which she wanted to dedicate to these special people in hers and Steven’s life. And she did her very best to ensure that she did not inadvertently forget anybody. Another testimony to their friendliness and warmness was the fact that they had a number of guests who flew in specially just to attend this wedding of theirs; some even with their partners and families.
Initially, we thought that we were not audible in the ballroom as we could not really hear ourselves over the main speakers. However, our fears were allayed when we received an approving round of applause. We had started off with Eagles’ – Love Will Keep Us Alive, an all-time familiar classic. We were further affirmed when the crowd continued to clap for the next few songs.
Some guests even called for song requests. It was unfortunate that we didn’t have the lyrics to some of those songs. However, one lady had asked for Buble numbers. And yes, the couple themselves are fans of Buble with songs such as Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Save The Last Dance For Me, and my personal favourite, Everything, to name a few.
Indeed, it was a warm and cosy wedding. Thank you Janice and Steven for engaging us and for the arrangement of our dinner. We sincerely wish you all the best as you make this journey together.
