Hsin Yeow’s thoughts: Two Is Better Than One
Sometimes, you get invited to a wedding because you have gotten to know either the bride or groom many years ago. And you wonder how the couple met each other and fell in love.
Theo and Rachel clearly believe in filling in the gaps for their family and friends. They lovingly produced a video which traced the journey of their lives, starting with the sentence, “Theo is the eldest in a family of 4 children (brother and 2 sisters)…”
They gave some air-time to their friends, who described Theo and Rachel as only close friends can. Theo “gets angry easily, and when he does, his whole face turns red!” But Theo is a “great friend”, in whom you can confide.
Rachel “is the naughtiest and cutest one” in the family. According to Rachel’s friends, her one significant trait is being “very blur”. According to Rachel, however, it was all “an act”.
Theo and Rachel started as friends, and it took five months for Theo to realise he was falling for Rachel. He wasted no time in baring his soul to Rachel, who needed “a bit of convincing”. But she did, of course, and they soon became inseparable.
We really enjoyed performing at the wedding, in part due to the exuberance of the guests. There were two, in particular, who were caught up in the moment, and volunteered to spice up the evening by singing. The first was Gary, who dazzled the audience with a smooth rendition of Fly Me To The Moon. The second was former MP Mr John Chen, who brought the house down with a classic tune <<绿岛小夜曲>> Green Island Serenade.

Bevlyn and I were also thrilled to meet an old friend – Gabriel Mendes. With him helming the camera, we knew Theo and Rachel’s wedding would be beautifully documented. Take a look at Gabriel’s work here as well!

As for the wedding, we heard from our friends that a lot of them loved the live band! Thanks for making our wedding a success.
Sadly, we didn’t get a chance to enjoy a music or to speak to you both of you as well. Everything happened in a blur and the evening just went by so fast. Now we are just waiting to see the videos and photos of our wedding.
