Hui Bing’s thoughts: All You Need is Love
One of the advantages of getting a live band – you can choreograph your own march-in in any way you like. And that’s David and Belinda did, with this lively song by the Beatles All You Need is Love.
First, David surprised all his guests by going on stage and said, “Hi everyone, in case you do not know, I am the groom” to laughter from his guests. After this humorous intro, he said that he understands that it is usually the emcee who will make the first speech but he wanted to thank everyone from the start for taking the time to attend their wedding. He then ran off to join Belinda outside the ballroom for the march-in.
While the guests waited expectantly for the arrival of the couple, David’s brother together with some friends, sang the opening paragraph of the Beatles song in accapella style – “Love, love, love, love, love, love, love”. Then the band started, with Junxiong singing one verse of the song. When he reached the chorus, the doors opened and David and Belinda marched into the ballroom to thunderous applause. I am sure that many guests will remember this unique march-in for many months to come.
Another highlight of the evening was when David and Belinda’s relatives came on-stage to sing a song. They adapted the lyrics so that the song had David and Belinda’s names in it. One of the performers, an adorable little girl dressed in a cheongsam, stole all the guests’ hearts away, including the band’s, with her singing.
Congratulations, David and Belinda! Wishing you guys a good and enjoyable trip to Hong Kong and do keep in touch!

Compliments from Belinda:
Hey thanks! The wedding was great and your band did a fabulous job to liven up the atmosphere. Our guests loved them and you know, they did our first march-in song so beautifully!
Please help me thank all of the band members. Great job!
Song to Recommend:
Banana Pancakes – A very interesting name to a song by Jack Johnson. His songs are usually quite difficult to sing as each sentence has many words, but Junxiong managed to pull it off, without missing a word.
